Edouard Beerens founded Vetra in Paris in 1927, creating lovingly crafted work wear for generations. Their simple, no frills approach and quality materials made them a clothing provider for the French army, as well as numerous professional tradesmen.
Their clean designs and painstaking process have endured and their influence is clear to see.
The Beerens family are still very much involved, with Edouard’s great grandsons, Richard and Edouard still extolling the virtues of Vetra today.
Cut and sewn in France using the same traditional methods and materials, this jacket is manufactured in a premium Melton wool mix in a Marine/ Dark Navy colour way. It features a throat tab for additional closure, two waist pockets and a pocket to the left breast. The jacket is a slimmer, unstructured fit. We recommend getting a size up for a more relaxed fit.
