At a time when most large scale US manufacturers outsourced production to South America or the Far East, Earl Beard put his belief in “American Made” founding Earl’s Apparel in 1972 and launching Stan Ray as a brand. He created a company that would specialise in the production of military grade cotton sateen garments, natural drill pants and painter coveralls.
The company's principles remain the same as the day Earl founded Stan Ray, to offer a good service and provide high quality, durable, comfortable and affordable garments all made in the manufacturing facility in Crockett, Texas in the USA.
Stan Ray products are a favourite with The Northern Fells Clothing Company and our motto is we sell what we would wear. We've been buying and wearing Stan Ray over the last few years and their trousers are our firm favourites. This Stan Ray 4 pocket jacket is a classic for our wardrobes. It's a great fit and the quality is outstanding at a good price. It comes in 100% cotton and features two chest patch pockets with button flaps and button down bellow waist pockets. The fabric fades and ages with wash and wear.
Wearing once and then washing will give the garment an "instant vintage” feel. Over longer periods of time the fabrics take on unique colour fades depending on how they are worn. Result is a garment unique to you.
